Great way to end off the season last night!

Based on our conversation last night, we’re going to keep our team size to 10 people this upcoming season (6 guys and 4 girls):

Dane, Cory, Luke, Rhys, Mike, and Alastair(?)
Joey, Lauren, Denise, and Erika

Next season is going to be a bit shorter so it costs a little bit less than this past season at $822. So divided by 10 people it’s going to be $82.22 per person. I’m hoping to have everything all paid up by the end of the New Year as I’d like to clear off my credit card by the end of the year. Alastair, please let us know if you’re back in for next season.
Lauren, I think you might still owe some cash for last season as well.
Rhys, I owe you $10 from last season, so feel free to deduct $10 from the amount you owe.
Cory, I owe you $8 which i’ll bring to our first game.

Just got a call from Urban Rec and they want to know if we want to play again this fall. They’re going to hold a spot for us till tomorrow morning, so I need to know who’s in and if we’ll have enough players to field a team by tomorrow morning.

Our first playoff game this Sunday is at 6:30pm. Please let me know if you’re going to be able to make it and help keep our unbeaten streak alive (and being an inspiration for the Canucks).

I just received a text message from Ryan Kesler after tonight’s game. He sent the following:

“Hey Mike say a big thanks to your soccer team. The way you guys played on Sunday night and to win from behind truly inspired me and the rest of the guys. We’ll be looking to you and your team for more inspiration this upcoming Sunday. Cheer Kes”

Well you heard it from the big guy. The Nucks are looking to us for inspiration this Sunday. Let’s keep the winning streak alive :)
